My name is Eliška Štěpová, but you may know me as Vesmírná Eliss.
I studied pre-school education and worked in a public schools and in after-school lectures mainly focused on art. After years of trying, I got into art school. Studying drawing and illustration, I finished with a graduation thesis in the form of an author’s comic book.
After that my life so far changed as being a graphic designer and illustrator. Working in a company full of man, focused on sports marketing I developed myself in typesetting (preparing layouts for any type of book or magazine), creating templates for social media and working with brand identities (also experienced in merchandising for sports fanshops).
On the other hand my passion always led me to drawing and painting more. I created book illustrations (prints, labellings, etc). I regularly pariticipate in comic and illustration festivals at home and abroad. My biggest passions are drawing anatomy, storyboards, portraits and comics.
I try to tell through my creations, to keep my work humorous and direct, that the viewer doesn’t get lost in it. But he can free himself from the troubles of the ordinary world. But main thing is that ordinary blue-collar work is no stranger to me. I’m hardworking and responsible for my designer skills. And found it more useful and important in a furture path.
